Teck Talk 3 - Jar test

This short video demonstrates how to undertake a simple jar test. As described in our first tech talk, a jar test should be undertaken to identify what chemical (coagulant or flocculent) is most effective for your site conditions and determining what the optimum dose rate is to achieve rapid settlement. It is hoped that this video assists designers in performing a jar test to verify basin design parameters, highlights the relevance of jar tests and presents an insight into cost of treatment.
