Update on the Weymouth Erosion Control Project

Now complete, the bank restoration project in Weymouth, Tasmania has proven a great success, with safe access restored and no evidence of further erosion. In fact, sand deposition indicates that what was intended to be a short to medium term solution may provide an ongoing benefit to the area.

Although our involvement was limited throughout the construction process we are very pleased we could help this small community kick-start their project. Providing assistance and solutions to not-for-profit groups for the benefit of local communities is a great source of satisfaction for all Topo staff and an area which we will continue to explore.
