Cross River Rail

2020 is going to be a big year on the Cross River Rail project. We will see the work starting at the RNA Showgrounds’ Exhibition station, as well as station upgrade works at Fairfield and Yeronga, and at the project’s southern tunnel portal south of Boggo Road.

The Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) works package is being delivered in alliance with UNITY to deliver the design, supply and installation of supporting rail systems; to integrate Cross River Rail into Queensland Rail’s train network; and to upgrade to Exhibition Station. With major construction works about to commence in these areas, the project has made significant commitments to environmental management, including soil and water quality, and erosion and sediment control.
