Eastern Transitway Project in Carindale
Works are soon to commence on Stage 1 of the Eastern Transitway Project in Carindale. The Eastern Transitway will provide bus customers in Brisbane's east with a safer and more efficient public transport network. The project will deliver targeted bus priority measures to improve safety, reliability and capacity along Old Cleveland Road from Coorparoo to Carindale.
Consisting largely of re-configuration of the existing road corridor and earthworks along steep batters, the project is particularly challenging with respect to traffic management and limitations on available room for sediment control.
