Timelapse of a High-Efficiency Sediment basin build

Topo have been busy working on a very large High-Efficiency Sediment basin for the Sunshine Coast Regional Council with Carruthers Contracting and Innovate Enviro. The basin is approximately 20ML in size and will cater for the expansion of the Nambour landfill over the next two decades.

Works are progressing well with a lot of concrete underway. The basin has been designed to reduce operational costs and to be a permanent fixture at the site, so this HES basin is very different to what we typically see on construction sites!

The time lapse video below shows progress up until early October with another post to come shortly showing the completed basin which we are very excited about.
