Sunshine Coast Airport Expansion Project completed

A huge milestone today in the opening of the new Sunshine Coast Airport runway. Topo would like to congratulate John Holland in undertaking this project and delivering a great project which came with some unique challenges. The new runway 13/31 is designed to take A330 and B787 aircraft and enable A320s and B737s to operate without restrictions. It is hoped that the new runway will lead to greater choice in airlines, destinations and flight times and the potential to attract over 2 million passengers annually, all of which is great news for the region and will further support the other major infrastructure projects underway and in the pipeline on the coast.
